Everything is shiny and new on the new ferry Woods Hole, which arrived in Fairhaven Monday for a final fitting out. Called a hybrid, the 235-foot vessel is designed to carry up to 10 full-length tractor trailer trucks or 55 vehicles, or some combination of both.

The Woods Hole will take her maiden voyage to the Vineyard on Monday, June 13, and will be open for tours from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Vineyard Haven dock.
