Storefronts are tidied up and new signs are affixed to old shingles as Menemsha gets ready for the summer season. Town officials completed their semi-annual walkabout last week to take a look at everything from docks to signs. Upcoming priorities include organizing fishing gear along the commercial dock to allow for safe pedestrian passage and a look at traffic issues, though no major changes to parking are expected this summer. As another summer nears, things are largely the same at the familiar fishing village.
