Tropical Storm Hermine brought Labor Day weekend festivities to an early end this year as visitors left early and boats were pulled ashore ahead of the storm. On Monday, the storm brought gusty winds, rain, and heavy surf to the Island, and the only beach-goers were kiteboarders and those who arrived with cameras to check out the surf.
