Miracles and Wonders; An Evening of Enchantment in Edgartown
'Twas the night of Christmas in Edgartown, when all through Donaroma's Nursery,
Peter Simon
Visions of sugar plums dance in their heads.
Peter Simon
The ornaments were hung in the nursery with care.
Peter Simon
Mama in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap.
Peter Simon
Out on the roof there arose such a clatter.
Peter Simon
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear.
Peter Simon
Clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.
Peter Simon
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight.
Peter Simon
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night."
Peter Simon
Donaroma's Nursery hosted an Evening of Enchantment: the Miracle of Life, which featured a pageant of twinkling trees, a star scavenger hunt, festive ornaments, and holiday cheer. Young and old alike turned out with their eyes to the sky, hoping for a glimpse of a reindeer-pulled sleigh.
