Back in the 1970s pick-up whiffle ball games were a regular happening. Time went by until family matriarch Janice Manter wanted to revive the games. Her son Skipper put time into rehabbing the ball field and volunteers fashioned a Fenway Park-like scoreboard and familiar Citgo sign. This weekend they dedicated the return of the games and gathered to play ball.
