The high school play, Les Miserables, opens at the Performing Arts Center on March 31 and continues through April 2. The story is set in early 19th century France and tells the story of the prisoner Jean Valjean trying to make a life for himself after 19 years in prison. His crime? Stealing a loaf of bread for his starving family.
