Just take a deep breath and think about it. Smile at strangers and say hello. Be helpful about giving directions. If you have to drive from one town to another, leave plenty of time. Let cars from side streets into the stream of traffic. Don't respond to rudeness with a display of your own. Take the Rotary Club's advice: "Courtesy is everyone's business." It will be ever so much nicer a summer if you do.
