The snow moved in mid morning and the storm front was at sea before the Island awoke. Last Saturday was spent indoors with eyes at the window. And as the day progressed, the Vineyard was sheathed in white, bringing with it hues of lavender, pale blue, yellow and pink. The snows will return in the wintry weeks ahead.
