The temperatures maintained mid forties this week, just right for a hike or work around the yard. A little taste of winter is just about perfect, we think, except for those hardy types who enjoy their snowshoes and toboggans. We'll settle for a brisk walk on a January day that deserves the name, and then a mug of hot coffee by the woodstove, and the sweet sensation of returning warmth.
