The Labor Day holiday already seems distant in this in between season, summer behind and autumn ahead. Even the Vineyard’s village streets look and sound different. Parking spaces are found once again and that hasn’t happened since Memorial Day in May. School children await the arrival of buses in early morning and drivers are reminded to operate with great care.
September may be the best month in the Vineyard year.
