Time is what keeps everything from happening at once. Except that in August, everything happens at once anyway. It's hardly a question of savoring this month and trying to make it last; August will be past before you can say road race and agricultural fair. This year's events again are different than usual, but there will be plenty of memories from this eventful month to carry us through.
