New green leaves seemed even greener on the gray, rainy days that closed out the month of April on Martha’s Vineyard. Daffodils and pink buds flourished in the rain, and the mushrooms, too, soaked up every drop. Some rainy days yielded to pastel sunsets, a reminder that there is more color on the horizon.
