The Martha's Vineyard Horse Council had a Hunter Pace through the state forest this weekend. Five different teams followed a designated course through the forest with occasional low jumps. It usually takes around an hour and forty minutes to complete, starting and ending at the West Tisbury School. Whoever comes closest to a designated time that is kept secret is the winner of first place followed by second third and fourth. The goal is to finish without your horse returning in a lather.
