At nine o'clock, with the sun shining, a line of cars began turning into the Grange Hall, eager to gather Island delights during the opening day of the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market. Little ones rubbing sleep from their eyes met farmers who had risen with the sun to pick and pull an assortment of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Some of the crowd waded through the sawdust and wood chips in the center lane to reach favorite vendors first, while others strolled along, surveying one booth at a time.
