It’s time to bivalvify your life.

On Friday, May 4, the Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group hosts its spring Shellfish Extravaganza fundraiser from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Chilmark Community Center. It’s a party that tastes good and feels good — shellfish are healthy to eat and contribute to pond health.

It’s an all-you-can-eat raw bar and chowder, Johnny Hoy and Bluefish play the tunes, and a silent auction rounds out the fun.
