Humorist and author David Sedaris visits the Vineyard on Saturday, August 2, with two performances: 1 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at the regional high school, and 8 p.m. at the Old Whaling Church in Edgartown.

Mr. Sedaris’s latest book, Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls, was published in paperback in June. His other books include Dress Your Children in Corduroy and Denim, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Naked.
