Pig lovers unite, it is time for the second year of the Swine and Dine celebration on the Vineyard.
On Nov. 9 the pig is center stage. During the day join Jan Buhrman on a tour of Island farms raising heritage breed pigs. Learn how they are raised and meet the farmers too. In the evening take a gastronomical tour with a pig roast dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Harbor View Hotel. The dinner will be the culmination of a week-long unique educational experience for chefs who have come to the Vineyard to participate in a class on the art of charcuterie and pork butchery.
