The summer calendar at Flatbread Company is full of backyard boogies, family dance parties and live music featuring on-Island and off-Island musicians. And of course, the main event ­— Pizza.

Live music officially returns with Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish and Goodnight Louise at the opening party on Saturday, May 18, beginning at 8 p.m.

The traditional community benefits continue at Flatbread beginning with a May 23 dine-to-donate benefitting the Martha’s Vineyard Ice Arena. The Martha’s Vineyard Skatepark is the beneficiary of a special concert with Ben Taylor, DCLA, 2nd Power and DJ Ricky Prime on Saturday, June 1 beginning at 7 p.m. for ages 21 and over.

Other concerts on the calendar feature Deer Tick on June 10 and David Wax Museum on July 3. Family dance-o-ramas each Wednesday with DJ Shizz will be back this summer, too.
