The Farm Institute in Katama is expanding with adult programming — 11 weeks of workshops for grownups, on Wednesday afternoons (from 1 to 3 p.m.) and Saturdays (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.) this summer.

Adult programming coordinator Kaila Binney is seeking other Island residents with knowledge and skills to share with the community — a bee connoisseur, homemade mozzarella fanatic, wild foodie, herbalist, sourdough baker, or no-till gardener; she says the Farm is open to anything that leads us to a more sustainable lifestyle.
