New Gardening Program Debuts at Native Earth

Prosperity Gardening at the Native Earth Teaching Farm, located at 94 North Road in Chilmark, begins Sunday, May 31, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and continues weekly throughout the summer.

Gardeners can gather to share skills, information, plants, and tips for local eating. Using the Native Earth library and community gardens for inspiration, each session will explore a theme as well as address issues brought by participants. All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners. Cost is $15 per session or $100 for a season pass, which comes with five heirloom organic pepper or tomato plants.
