Last Friday morning, 53 people gathered at the Vineyard Haven Public Library with a mission: identify what makes Tisbury special, and how it could be better.

The workshops are part of a vision planning process that will provide a road map for future town improvements.

The sun was absent from the gathering, but celebrated nonetheless on Tuesday afternoon as the town of Tisbury dedicated its first solar array. The 1.2 megawatt project is tucked away behind the park and ride lot.
