A new business, re-imagined festival and a proposal for outdoor seating were all weighed by the Oak Bluffs select board Tuesday as businesses begin to shuffle their strategies, adapting to the fall season.

The two newest additions to the Steamship Authority fleet will be named M/V Aquinnah and M/V Monomoy, following a unanimous vote by the boat line board of governors.


The Oak Bluffs select board Tuesday voted to appoint Donovan McElligatt, former Mashpee shellfish warden, to the position of Oak Bluffs shellfish constable.
