Beginning March 1, Vineyard Transit Authority route 1 buses traveling in Edgartown will stop only at designated bus stops. Riders on that route will no longer be encouraged to flag down the bus between stops.
With spring comes extra hours of daylight — and more library time. Starting March 1, the Edgartown Public Library will be open for 11 extra hours of service.
At the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard we are contemplating changing the name of one of the cats to Polar Vortex, P.V. for short. No white cats are in residence at the moment, but we do have a lovely, large gray one who could be a candidate.
