Cricket is looking for a home.

Please Adopt Us

We have a Christmas adoption to report! Grace, the six-year-old tortoiseshell who is as sweet as can be, found her wonderful, forever home on Christmas eve.

We have a Christmas adoption to report! Grace, the six-year-old tortoiseshell who is as sweet as can be, found her wonderful, forever home on Christmas eve. Such a special Christmas for everyone involved.

Our pet of the week is Cricket, a six-year-old, tabby and white female who is an indoor/outdoor cat. She is currently on a special diet due to her plumpness, which will need to be continued until she returns to her optimum weight, but she has slimmed down during her time here. However, she is playful and is becoming more and more affectionate. Come meet her and see if you were meant to for each other.

We are also looking for jewelry donations for our next annual Garden Party. We will accept any type of jewelry in any condition. Donations should be dropped off at the shelter during business hours.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need. Just give us a call during regular shelter hours:
