Linda Jean's restaurant on Circuit avenue in Oak Bluffs reopens with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 8 a.m.
A longtime favorite Island eatery returns to service on Tuesday, Feb. 14 when Linda Jean’s in Oak Bluffs will open reopen under new ownership. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 8 a.m.
Lisa and Winston Christie, who also own Winston’s Kitchen on the Oak Bluffs harbor, are the new owners of the Circuit avenue diner. Marc Hanover had owned and operated the restaurant since 1976.
The Christies have retained much of the dining room decor and staff. Full bar service and some favorite menu items from Winston’s Kitchen have been added to the traditional main menu of Linda Jean’s. Table service, which is not an option at Winston’s Kitchen, is available or diners can take their orders to go.
Linda Jean’s will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p m.

Joe Buti BostonDoes anyone remember Lee's with its huge horseshoe shaped counter, or Mr C's? There was a time when you had a choice for breakfast before heading off to work here.
