Water taxis will ferry music-lovers from the Vineyard to Falmouth this weekend, according to an announcement from Beach Road Weekend organizers.
Water taxis will ferry music-lovers from the Vineyard to Falmouth during Beach Road Weekend, August 26 through August 28, according to an announcement from festival organizers Friday.
Service from Oak Bluffs will begin at 8:30 p.m. and end at 1 a.m., with 12 departures each night, according to the announcement. Music at the festival, held in Vineyard Haven's Veterans Memorial Park, ends at 8 p.m. daily.
“The boats will dock in Falmouth, and then shuttle buses will take guests to the Sea Crest Hotel, Holiday Inn, Falmouth Inn, the Sands of Time, and AutoCamp, as well as the Palmer avenue parking lot. Shuttle bus rides are included in the weekend price of each water taxi ticket,” the announcement continues.
