Jonathan Chatinover has been awarded the Winter Boys south assistant coach of the year.
On May 15, Jonathan Chatinover was recognized by the Eastern Massachusetts Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association, which awarded him as the Winter Boys South assistant coach of the year.
Mr. Chatinover is currently the assistant coach of the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School swim team after serving for mamy years as head coach. Jen Passafiume, the school’s varsity swim coach, notes that Mr. Chatinover played an important role in boosting morale and skills as swimmers entered into the Cape and Islands Conference Championship meet, which the high school won this year for the first time in the program’s 10-year history. Mr. Chatinover has been an integral part of helping to teach new swimmers everything they need to know about competition swimming.
