Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation announced that Thomas Hallahan has joined the staff as senior director for administration, advancement and finance. He will work closely with executive director Adam Moore, as well as the organization’s board and donors on organizational details, the foundation said in a press release.

Mr. Hallahan has served in varied roles on the Vineyard, including as executive director of Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard from 2016 to 2021. He was a Dukes County commissioner and professor at Salem State University, among other positions.

He recently returned to the Vineyard after an academic position in Iraq.
