Three Island residents were arraigned on drug charges in Edgartown district court Monday, after Tisbury police and the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force conducted a raid at a house in Oak Bluffs last week. Jason Reagan, 39, of Oak Bluffs, Shane Harthcock, 40, of West Tisbury, and Danae Vlaskovic, 32, of Oak Bluffs, are all facing charges.
Three Island residents were arraigned on drug charges in Edgartown district court Monday, after Tisbury police and the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force conducted a raid at a house in Oak Bluffs last week.
Jason Reagan, 39, of Oak Bluffs was charged with intent to distribute a class E drug (Xanax), possession of a class B drug (cocaine), possession of a class E drug (Gabapentin), and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Shane Harthcock, 40, of West Tisbury was charged with possession with intent to distribute class A drugs (heroin/fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute class E drugs (Gabapentin) and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Danae Vlaskovic, 32, of Oak Bluffs was charged with possession with intent to distribute class A drugs (heroin/fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute class E drugs (Gabapentin) and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Arraignments were held Monday morning.
A fourth person involved in the raid, Hillary Seaton, was issued a summons on charges of possession of a class C drug (psychedelic mushrooms). Ms. Seaton was not arraigned Monday.
Mr. Reagan is currently being held on $2,500 bail, according to court officials. Mr. Harthcock posted $1,000 bail, and Ms. Vlaskovic was released on personal recognizance.
All three are due to return to court on August 26.
According to Tisbury police Lieut. Bill Brigham, Mr. Reagan was the target of the raid, which was conducted by recently-promoted Det. Charles Duquette on August 20 after he obtained search warrants for a residence addressed at 23 Worcester avenue in the Lagoon Heights section of Oak Bluffs.
Activity at the property had been the subject of neighbor speculation, Lieutenant Brigham said, before Detective Duquette was able to secure and execute the search warrant. Oak Bluffs Sgt. Nicholas Curelli and Det. Tim Millerick, as well as other members of the Islandwide drug task force, assisted in the raid.
Lieuenant. Brigham said Mr. Reagan was arrested at the scene. The other two defendants were later arrested outside the Tisbury police station.
“It just went very smoothly,” Lieutenant Brigham said. “The guys all came together to do this. We’re going to press forward, moving forward with our detective work over here. We feel it’s important to get these drugs off the street, that are killing people.”
The property is owned by Anthony Stanco, who has a mailing address in Sea Cliff, N.Y., according to Oak Bluffs assessors records.
