Illumination Night will held as planned on August 18, but festivities have been modified and scaled back due to Covid concerns, the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association announced.
There will be no program or lighting of the first lantern in the Tabernacle this year, and fewer cottages will be decorated, the association said.
Lanterns will be lit throughout at 8 p.m. All are welcome, but anyone walking through the Camp Ground that evening is required to wear a mask.
More information about Grand Illumination can be found on the MVCMA website.
