Vineyard Open House real estate celebrated a grand opening on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. The new real estate firm is owned by David Lott and is located in Vineyard Haven on Union street, across from Murdick’s Fudge.

The business is an outgrowth of nearly 30 years of marketing resort real estate. In 1995 he founded the GolfCourseHome and WaterViewHome Networks, a 44-member website network which features more than 100 resort communities in North America and the Caribbean. Mr. Lott also hosts a real estate radio show on WVVY (93.7) called On the House — Real Estate Radio.

Mr. Lott’s family first arrived on the Vineyard in the 1890’s. He built his first home on the Island in 1973 at the age of 22.
