Rosangela Teixeira Lemos and Hermes De Aldmeida Lemos of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Kimberlly Wictoria Teixeira Lemos, born on March 3 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Kimberlly weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

Studying Overseas

Audrey F. Furlong is participating in St. Lawrence University’s International Study Program for the spring 2008 semester.

Furlong graduated from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School. She is studying in the International Student Exchange Program at Napier University, Edinburgh, Scotland.

St. Lawrence is a coeducational liberal arts and sciences institution of 2,000 students in Canton, N.Y.

Miller Becomes Specialist

Elaine T. Miller of Sandpiper Realty Inc. in Edgartown has earned the seniors real estate specialist designation, which focuses on educating realtors to serve real estate buyers and sellers who are aged 55 and older.

Real Estate Designation

Robin O’Donnell and Nora Jardin of Island Real Estate in Vineyard Haven have been awarded the accredited buyer representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council Inc. of the National Association of Realtors.

To receive the designation, the two were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, as well as submitting documents verifying their professional experience.
