Hello, Lacey

Natalie and Dana Munn of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Lacey Evelyn Munn, born on Jan, 14 2010, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Lacey weighed 7 pounds, 1.4 ounces at birth.

Lacey is welcomed by four-year-old brother Linus.

Dean’s List

Sagitta Woodman, of West Tisbury, made the dean’s list at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I. She is a sophomore majoring in international social work. She is the daughter of Mara Coleman of West Tisbury.

Bridgewater State College recently announced three Vineyard students who were named to the fall 2009 dean’s list: Michael C. Pachico of Chilmark, and from Vineyard Haven, Dawne M. Charters-Nelson and Jai L. Berger.

L.A. Invited to Florida

Lisa Brown Langley, of L.A. Brown Photography, an annual participant in the Vineyard Artisans Festivals, has been accepted to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival.

One of the nation’s premier outdoor fine arts festivals, the Coconut Grove event takes place in Florida over February’s Presidents Day weekend. Up to 1,800 applicants nationwide apply; only 350 artists are accepted. This festival has a 47-year history and brings over a million spectators.
