Laura Anne Douthitt and Bradley Alan Hawk were married June 8 at the Aquinnah home of her cousins Ted and Sarah Howes. Captain Steven C. Doane (Ret’d) of the U.S. Public Health Service, the bride’s uncle, performed the double-ring ceremony.
Ashley and Ethan Richard Felix of Revere, Mass., announce the birth of a son, Beau Hyde Felix, born on June 23 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Beau weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces at birth.
Caitlyn O’Donnell and Gregory Leland of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Deacon Bruce Leland, born on June 20 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Deacon weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces at birth.
Cristina and North Whitney of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Averie Joy Whitney, born on June 21 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Averie weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces at birth.
Lucy and Michael Pelham of Melrose announce the birth of a daughter, Nancy Magnolia Pelham. Nancy’s grandparents are Garrett Orazem and the late Nancy Durkin Orazem of Edgartown, and Sylvia Pelham and the late Robert Pelham of Lake Hopatcong, N.J. Nancy weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces at birth.
Alex Poole of Edgartown graduated cum laude with a dual major in elementary education and english literature from Elmira College in N.Y. in June 2013.
