The Martha’s Vineyard Airport Commission voted Thursday to take the first steps toward opening up nine additional acres for development in the business park.

It was a busy first summer for The Fish House, the retail market that opened at the airport in mid-July, with over 200 pounds of fish crossing the counter each day.
