Renee Balter, of Oak Bluffs, died at home on August 26 surrounded by her family. She was 90.

I bonded with Renee over our shared love of the Celtics and basketball generally. She was a lovely woman and I’m glad to have known her. Condolences to Bruce and her many friends and family members.

AWE, So sorry to read this. I knew her When I lived on Vineyard and worked at two banks. She was the kindest sweet lady. A loss for the Island. Family I will pray for her soul, and sorry for your loss.
