It was a thrilling sports weekend. How ‘bout them Pats?. The Pacers/ Celtics game was very exciting and close but alas, my Celtics lost.
Pathways in Chilmark has a wonderful multimedia event for you on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Musicians, poets, dancers and artists will convene to chase away cabin fever. Certainly worth driving out on a chilly night to enjoy the show.
I do hear that is the same night our MV Center for Living has a fundraiser bingo night at the PA Club. The target is funds for dementia and caregiver work.
Monday, Jan. 19 will be our celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. You all know how to remember him.
Judith Campbell who led us for many years at our Unitarian Universalist location on Main street has returned to live in Plymouth. Judith has just published her sixth mystery book in her Viridienne Green series. I was thrilled to receive my autographed copy of it. The title is Hide and Seek.
My Dear Friend Martin Finnerty is a first-time uncle! His sister Tanita has given birth to a boy in Boston. The child’s name is Kenzo.
My grandson Dominic Leigh Clark took the birthday bandwagon to age 19 on Jan. 19th; Nicola Blake celebrated on Jan. 11; Marybeth Roden claims Jan. 16; and on Jan. 17 Glen Maciel takes the cake. Many happy returns.
