A Thank You to Kate Campbell

Editors, Vineyard Gazette;

Late one fall afternoon, I struggled with a heavy suitcase, determined to take my usual shortcut from the front of the Edgartown School to Robinson Road. Suddenly, a beautiful woman appeared, asked what I was doing, and took over the suitcase, hoisting it over the rough ground to the street. She didn’t stop there, and rolled the bag up the road until In was safely at my destination.

Finally, she hiked the bag up again and dragged it across the crushed stone driveway until I could enter the house.

I am happy for the school children who have the benefit of Edgartown School principal Kate Campbell’s oversight and guidance. She is not only a skilled professional, but she is also a very caring and supportive person. I’m an 80-something grandmother who can vouch for that!
