Chappy residents age 60 and older have the opportunity to use a free transportation service offered by the Edgartown Council on Aging (ECOA) in collaboration with Healthy Aging MV. Chappy Connect provides rides for various appointments and errands. Rides are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis by calling the ECOA at 508-627-4368 by 3 p.m. on Thursday for the following week’s rides. The service operates Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., using an all-electric vehicle. The operating costs of the service have been provided by the annual Chappy Point to Point Race.
