It is easy for any one of us to drive by and see some car out of place and think, “I wonder what this is all about, oh well I have to get going.”

On August 11, I had a one-car accident on Great Plains Road in West Tisbury. I was trapped with a fractured shoulder. Whoever called 911 for me, I want to say thank you. I believe you saved my life.

It was definitely a comfort that I knew the EMT’s who arrived. One was my neighbor and one was my plumber, who showed the utmost professional care for my safety. I am grateful to all involved.
