A Dukes County grand jury returned indictments earlier this month on an Oak Bluffs man accused of raping a child. 

Luciano Deoliveira, 28, was indicted on Dec. 19 on two counts of aggravated rape of a child, posing a child in a sexual act, distributing material of a child in a sexual act, possession of child pornography and dissemination of obscene materials to a child. 

Mr. Deoliveira was previously charged in district court, after Oak Bluffs police said they found videos on Mr. Deoliveira’s phone of him raping a 15-year old. 

The case will now be heard in Dukes County Superior Court on the new charges. 

Mr. Deoliveira is scheduled to be arraigned on Feb. 19. He was previously ordered to be held on $2,000 bail.
