On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School will have a two-hour delayed opening.

On Thursday, Jan. 11, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School will have a two-hour delayed opening. The change is needed so that Eversource can restore full power and heating, which was lost at the school when a transformer failed.

The delay is only for the high school only. The Island’s elementary schools will operate as regularly scheduled.
