Bass in the Grass is back at The Carnegie Heritage Center at 58 North Water street in Edgartown.

The annual event puts an artful spin on the Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby by having artists create works in the shape of striped bass.

The event is a fundraiser for local artists, the Edgartown Board of Trade and the Derby Scholarship Fund.

The show opened in mid-September and continues through Oct. 15.

Check out the Carnegie Center and also visit bassinthegrassmv.org for more information and to bid on artwork.
