The latest research on PFAS, found in the artifical turf being considered for use on the high school athletic field, states that the toxic chemicals are harmful in even when exposed to small amounts.

PFAS are endocrine disruptors; they are particularly harmful to children who have not reached puberty because they interfere with the hormonal systems that guide children’s development from infancy to early adulthood or adolescence. That would include some high school students.
