On Thursday, March 30 the Great Pond Foundation will hold a discussion about cyanobacteria in the coastal ponds of Martha’s Vineyard. The event will be held online and begins at 3:30 p.m.

In the online presentation Cyanobacteria Monitoring, scientists will present a report about cyanobacteria blooms and monitoring that took place in 2022. During that year, coastal ponds showed more algal growth than the previous year. A question and answer session will be held at the end of the discussion.
