Amidst projections for sub-zero temperatures this weekend, the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society is offering shelter for backyard and barn animals and livestock. Short-term housing is available in the Animal Barn on the society’s property at 35 Panhandle Road in West Tisbury. The goal is to keep animals safe and warm.

Owners are expected to provide their animals with feed and to haul water.
