On Monday, July 4, Murdick’s Fudge will hold the Murdick’s Run the Chop Challenge 2022. This annual race raises money for Island-based youth programs including those at the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club and Rotary of Martha’s Vineyard.

The race is a five-mile loop around West Chop and includes a fun run for children. The main race will begin at 9 a.m. at the front entrance of the Tisbury School.

Pre-registration costs $30 and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. Race day registration is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and costs $35 per runner. To pre-register or donate go to: murdicks.com/run-the-chop.
