A brief early morning power outage on the Vineyard was quickly resolved after the cause was located at a Falmouth substation, an Eversource spokesman said Thursday. The outage occurred just before 7 a.m.

“Crews quickly located the issue and power was restored within 12 minutes to the 42,596 customers affected,” a statement said.
