Expanded Freight Service

The Steamship Authority in the summer of 2018 expanded its previous summer service of 56 one-way trips per day between Woods Hole and Martha’s Vineyard by six freight trips to make for a total of 62 one-way trips per day.

The SSA expanded its summer service by adding a fifth vessel on its regular daily schedule for the first time.

That expanded number of an astounding 62 trips per day between Woods Hole and the Vineyard has remained on the summer schedule since 2018 and will be repeated again this summer.
