Six film festivals are in the works for 2021, including the Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival in September.

The Martha's Vineyard Film Society has announced six film festivals for 2021, beginning with the fifth annual Spectrum festival of LGBTQ+ movies, May 7 to May 9, and the seventh Nature as Inspiration Environmental Film Festival, May 27 to May 30.

The ninth annual Filmusic festival screens June 24 to June 27, followed by the seventh Documentary Week, August 2 through August 7.

The society's marquee event, the Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival, returns for its 16th year Sept. 7 through Sept. 12, and the third Women in Film Festival takes place Oct. 15 to Oct. 17.
